It's incredible easy for a toddler who is still developing their motor skills to place the firefighter in the fire truck and take it out, but the firefighter won't just fall out with normal play. The toy seems very durable including the movable ladder of the firetruck. He LOVES this toy. It it made with durable material so even though he drops it or throws it and it hits the wall, the toy is still intact. It come with the fire truck which has a moveable ladder that is attached to the truck. It also comes with a little fire person which he likes to pretend that it's climbing the ladder.
