I couldn&rsquo;t even take it out of the box and they had the time of their lives making it roar and move. This is one of the best dinosaur toys to be put out on the market. The fact that it&rsquo;s played with still boxed is a huge selling feature to me. It snaps it&rsquo;s jaws shut, so we got to have action fights. For playtime, we decided to build block towers, and the dinosaurs would fight each other. The Spinosaurs was so fun for the fighting and knocking down the block towers. The Spinosaurs put up a good fight, but in the end, his tower was knocked over first! This Dinosaur toy is top-notch, it&rsquo;s built solidly, the snapping feature is solid and doesn&rsquo;t feel cheap. The colors on the back fin, was a good add. We also played Dino Attack in the dark to change it up and see the fin light up. My son loves the snapping action- and spent at least an hour snapping his other dinosaurs! He mentioned all the colors on the fin. And likes that it is a meat eater. The Ultra Snap Spinosaurus is a little larger than our dinosaurs and definitely captures my grandchildren&rsquo;s fun pretend time. His eyes light up and his back has colored lights to match his mood. The Spinosaurus has a powerful mouth which frequently has other dinosaurs, people and cars in it. His mouth and sounds are easily controlled by your child. His roar is strong. The Spinosaurus is even more fun in the dark because of its lighted eyes and colorful back. The larger pieces mean little fingers are safe and less of a choking hazard (though this is still recommended for children 3 and up). The spinosaurus is posable at the hips and arms, while the trigger on the underside of the tail controls the neck, head, and mouth. My 8-year-old especially loves that &quot;she can feel her emotions in her spine, she can chomp on the man, and you can control her movements&quot;. He noticed that the spinosaurus lights up in red when the man is in her mouth, while it's colorful when he's not - showing great attention to detail. This product is easy to open with a perforated open cut in to the bottom of the box. As a parent, I also enjoy that this toy not only comes with batteries already installed, it comes with an on/off switch! The action feature works great. When you pull the trigger on the tail the mouth opens then the head snaps down. The eyes light up yellow and the fin has 3 led lights that light up and blink different colors while this is happening it also makes dinosaur roars and chomping sounds, very cool! It is so big which by itself makes the toy great for older kids in the 3-8 Imaginext age range. My 8 year old was entertained with the lights, sounds and ability to activate a snapping action. My 6 year old wanted to walk it which isn&rsquo;t a function but enjoyed all of the other functions as well. My sons agreed that this dinosaur would be scary for the younger ages of 3-4 in this range because of the size, lights, sound and snapping action. The toy is ominous just staying still. I think I was expecting the way the head moved to feel flimsy, but this toy is sturdy! All of my kids have taken turns playing with it for long periods of time.
