He now does it every time he&rsquo;s in it. A better securing mechanism is needed in order to ensure that they remain in the saucer. The bear toy when pushed forward can fly back and hit your child in the face. One must also make sure the legs are properly positioned or the saucer is unstable. I'm not sure if just a few months was too much use on it my daughter's barely 18 lbs so weight was definitely not an issue. It was properly assembled and like I said been used for several months. I just thank God my 3-year-old was not walking nearby when the leg went out because it snapped back so quickly and it could have been so much worse worse. This review is a follow up. Although aesthetically pleasing buyer beware! After only about 4 months of my son actually using the product the bungee cords attached to the plastic frame snapped off while my son was in the seat! My son then carried all his weight plus the weight of the seat on his little legs before falling sideways and almost hitting his head on the wood floor. I would like to add that my son meets all the criteria to safely use this product. I am both extremely thankful he was not seriously hurt while at the same time infuriated. Not only is it so easy on the eyes compared to ever other exersaucer, it clipped together easily and in just a few minutes. You have to actually read the instructions because although all six wooden legs look the same, they are two sets of three cut at slightly different angles and need to go into the right spot. Baby loves the toys and can bounce and move safely with his toes just touching the floor like it says in the manual. I love the simplicity and ease of the height adjustment system - I think the metal clip is an ingenious solution. Our baby uses it 3 times a day for about 10 minutes each time. She really enjoys every piece of it... when she can use all the pieces! She can easily take off the little grey rod with the leaves/cat and it is impossible to put back in place, it will just get off every time now. She can also take off the bunny with the electronic components. She overall structure is also very flimsy, not good for developing babies testing their abilities! So on 6 holes, 3 of them are now empty, making it not that interesting to use. Also, the seat doesn't rotate that easily compared to other jumpers we used, it gets frustrating for our (strong) baby. Still can&rsquo;t figure out how to get the wheels on the seat because the seat came put together already even though in the instructions it says it doesn&rsquo;t.
