I don&rsquo;t love how the road pieces don&rsquo;t stay together very well. The car figures are so cute and great quality! The &ldquo;race&rdquo; part of the toy is so much fun! My son and nephew raced over and over again. The lights were okay. I think adding some sounds or &ldquo;ready set go&rdquo; would have been a good feature. The toy is easy and quick to assemble, I helped my daughter put the track together. Once you remove all of the pieces from the box, it&rsquo;s pretty self explanatory to put everything together. The instructions are pretty clear. You do have to apply all of the stickers to the pieces, and they do fit pretty well guided by the grooves. The set comes with a Lightening McQueen,Mater and Guido car, but we did find out that similar sized cars fit on the track and work the same as the ones included. The pieces snap easily together, they are also pretty easy to take apart as well for storage. The Flo&rsquo;s V8 Cafe does require 2 AAA batteries which are not included. Once you get it all put together it looks great! Flo&rsquo;s lights up a couple different ways, one is for racing, there&rsquo;s a red light for stop, a flashing yellow to get ready and green to go. There is also a multi light that switches between the three colors. Luigi&rsquo;s tire store has a turning table to place the cars on for a quick tire change from Guido standing by! Ramones house of body art has a turning table as well for that super awesome fresh coat of paint! The details on this set are incredible. My kids absolutely love driving the little cars around Radiator Springs visiting all of the little shops, then swinging back by Flo&rsquo;s to top off on fuel at the two gas pumps. Then it&rsquo;s on to racing! Mater and Lightening get lined up under Flo&rsquo;s V8 Cafe, when the light turns green you press the tab on the back of the round awning and off they race down the road to the finish line! My 5 &amp; 8 year old absolutely love this set, they spend hours playing with it and it seems to hold their interest pretty well. The only reason i gave 4 instead of 5 stars, is because the tracks come apart easily. So a little bump and u need to fix it. But that could also be, because we have it in the carpet.
