One of the cars is of course lightening McQueen and the other Jackson Storm. They have had great fun racing each other. The little flag pops up at the end to see who wins. We have all had a go at racing each other even the grandparents have had a go. The track switches so we had tons of races and It can also be played with one player as the launchers are close together. My little boy (3.5 years) loves that it also glows, it has to be left in the light for a bit to glow. The set up was pretty easy even with the kids helping, if you have someone who loves applying stickers to toys they will love this. Once it&rsquo;s set up that is pretty much its size but it slides into a corner or under the bed easily when not being used. This is definitely a great toy for all kids (my two are 3 and 7 and played for a good few hours) but it will be definitely pulled out at family events to keep the kids busy. They love creating events and races. We did try some diecast 'Cars' cars and they did work as well, you just have to press a little harder. The track has two racing options-a straight track or a jumping figure 8. The track is easily switch by moving two pieces. The figure 8 track is so much fun! The cars jump and switch sides. Unlike some jumping car sets, the two included cars make the jump and finish the race more often than not (as long as you launch them hard enough). The finish line has a flag that drops to indicate the winner of each race. Launching cars is super easy, but you do have to hit it nice and hard to get the jumps right. The track is connectable to other compatible tracks. The coolest part of this set is that it is glow in the dark and it really glows! Turn off the lights and its a whole new game with the very brightly glowing set! The assembly instructions were very clear and it was easy to put together, but I soon realized that this one should have never gotten passed by quality. The launch paddles are supported by a spring. Only issue was that the right launch paddle didn&rsquo;t get a spring installed during manufacturing. This led to the launch paddle not engaging the car in that lane and therefore wouldn&rsquo;t push the car down the track. I was really disappointed with this one. My 7 year old was able to put this together completely on his own in about ten minutes. It's light weight so he can carry it to other parts of the house without it breaking apart. He loved the options to race. You can have two cars drag race, two cars race in a criss cross jumping fashion, or you can have go criss cross while the other stays on the drag side. The levers to race appear to be sturdy and the toy doesn't make excessive noise, which is always a huge bonus! It looks like it can be added to other cars sets also. The checkered flag falls to indicate which car wins and is very easy to put back. There is also a cute little detail of a gas pump on the side of the starting point, where cars can fuel up before the big race.
