This does come unassembled, but took about 10 min to set up, including putting on the stickers, which my kids all had fun doing.
This playset comes with 1 color changing Lightning McQueen, that changes from blue to red with hot/cold water. This feature completely amazed my 3 yr old, and he will spend quite awhile changing the colors back and forth. I see this being used a lot this summer outside by him.
Another feature my son really likes it this playset connects to his Frank escape playset. It can take a few tries, but he has fun launching Lightning from that playset and getting him into the carwash.
Overall this has been a really fun toy for my son, and I will be looking for more color changing Cars characters to use along with it.</span>

The car wash and race ready comes with one Lightning McQueen color changing car(blue/red), car wash, two containers for water(hot/cold). You do have to assemble it but it’s super easy and quick. Push McQueen into the car wash, dump the piston cup over which has very warm water and watch his car change colors. Push him though to the end and on his way to the next race.</span>

Easy to assemble and made a great project to do with child. For those that are very picky with details, one of the stickers had to be placed over a hole. Making it not last as long as it could.
