My toddler and infant are both enthralled with the animation as Mickey comes to life. My son loves to sing and dance aka flap and sway along with Mickey to Old McDonald and to play the animal sound game. My daughter enjoys observing, learning by extension. Given their age difference and current abilities, there is not much overlap in terms of toys they both enjoy. Thankfully, this qualifies. My son can operate the functions independently, pushing the buttons to activate Mickey and they can sit together and both be entertained. It is a feat. In addition, I like that the doll employs a familiar song and authentic voice. The game complements the music beautifully for learning in action. I also like that it comes with batteries and can be used straight out of the package and that it can be switched off when necessary.
