I should have read the recommended age a bit more carefully though. I ended up buying for my grandsons birthday, he just turned 3? The recommended age is 5 and up for this kit and it is an appropriate recommendation. Under 5yr Olds just don't have the patience yet to see the whole project through and see it finished. I ended up building the igloo for him and he really did enjoy it. At least it can be used over and over so will still be perfect when he does turn 5 in 2more years!
