<span itemprop="description">It has the makings of being a cool toy especially for preteens. It’s a portable mani / pedi set and you have these super cute stickers to customize your nails. Then the let down it’s really difficult to get the stickers to adhere I have a teen and she was losing interest so, I can only imagine younger ones. The nail polish isn’t the best quality either it peels of easily. If these areas got fixed I’m sure that this would be a gift that would get used often. In its current state I see this as one of those gifts that rarely gets used.</span>

<span itemprop="description">The stickers are so stinking cute, but the nail polish is crap. We followed the directions exactly, but the first time each of us washed our hands, the polish peeled off. And once it came off, we realized that the polish under the top coat was still sticky! You also have to hit the perfect timing in polish dry time in order to get the stamp to stick- too wet, the polish gets on the stamp, too dry and the stamp doesn’t stick. So you can really only do one nail at a time. We did finally realize that if you don’t put the first coat all the way to the edges of your nail, and then do the top coat all the way to edge, it creates a seal around the polish. This made it last slightly longer. It’s not worth the money.</span>

<span itemprop="description">My 10 yr old niece loves this. She was able to do this without assistance and sealed her nails when finished the first time and all the polish and stamps stayed on. It’s a trial and error on the waiting 5 minutes because you do it when the polish is just not totally dry and it’ll stick. If it’s wet, the stamp pulls it right off and you have to redo.
The nail dryer worked well.</span>

<span itemprop="description">The cool maker u-nique nail salon is a cool concept but we had some diffculty with getting the stickers/decals to stick on the nails. I like how everything is compact and the variety of stickers that comes with the kit. We found it somewhat hard for the stickers to actually stick to the nail and quickly realized the polish quality was subpar. After adding multiple coats, the polish mostly comes off with a simple hand wash. I did love the idea that you can take the stamper out of the machine and use it on the go. Overall, it is a great machine and my daughter enjoyed it, but it has some flaws.</span>

Cons: You can only use the polish provided. it is actually a glue. if you do not seal it with the top coat provided, it will wash off. it is hard to get off if you want it off. also, very tricky to get it just right. you are to wait 5 minutes after you polish to do the stamp, if you put the polish on too thick (as little girls tend to do) then it wont work. it takes a lot of trial and error to get it to work right. also a lot of adult supervision. i used it with kids ages 5,7.8.11, 13.</span>

<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter and her friend had hours of fun playing with this kit, they did struggle at first to get it to work, but after lots of trial and error, they decided you needed to paint your nails and leave them to dry until they were tacky. The air dryer included is not great. Kids are not patient, they were using the hairdryer to dry their nails then print on the stickers. The stamp was quite difficult for kids to remove from the housing - you need to give it a good tug. Overall a good few hours of entertainment, I'm not sure if they will use it again but seems they did enjoy using it. Would make a great birthday present but does need some adult supervision / help to get it to work.</span>
