[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have two daughters, ages 7 and 9, who love to play games. We have played regular Clue with them many times. Cute twist, some frustrations, overall fun
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a cute twist on the original game. You have to try to figure out who set off the science-experiment volcano and made a mess. You need to solve who did it, what they used to make the mess, and which class they were playing hooky from when they did it. Our new game came missing the volcano itself, so I printed one out. The first time we played my kids had about 7 billion questions about how they were supposed to arrive at the final guess. It was a little chaotic, but it got much better after the first time we solved the mystery. I think it dawned on them how all of the pieces of information fit into a solid conclusion, or at least a good guess.
There were some frustrations with the game. Our volcano was absent from the game, so I don’t know if having that piece would have made any of these other items easier. The second thing was that the clues were on the bottom of game pieces and in the joie de combat excitement, many pieces were knocked over and clues were exposed. This happened all throughout the game. My kids are 11 & 7 and they’d get excited, or would just plow ahead and knock stuff over and accidentally expose a clue. We decided to just make that a fun thing instead of getting upset about it. The game board ripped when we were trying to fold it up. It got bent the wrong way briefly and it ripped very easily. Luckily it was still attached at one point, but since it was our first time using the board it was sad. Lastly, we found some of the instructions confusing and I couldn’t figure out if it’s because I was unintentionally filtering them through my knowledge of how the regular game of Clue worked, or if they were truly lacking in better detail, but I found myself reading and re-reading the instructions all throughout the game and still feeling unprepared to answer all the questions my kids had.
The positives: we loved actually playing the game. The kids thought it was fun and a neat idea. There’s a bonus game on the back that helps kids with memory: finding which playground items are missing. That’s cute too. Once we got the through several rounds of the game it was more fast-paced and exciting.

Fun and engaging game
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The game is a simplified version of the classic Cluedo game, and it's perfect for young children.
The goal of the game is to figure out who took a piece of cake, when they took it, and what they drank with it. Players take turns rolling the die and moving around the board. When they land on a space, they can look under a character or furniture piece to find a clue.
The clues are simple enough for young children to understand, and they help them to narrow down the suspects. The game is also very fast-paced, so it's perfect for short attention spans.
I would definitely recommend Cluedo Junior to any parent looking for a fun and engaging game for their young child. It's a great way to introduce them to the classic Cluedo game, and it's sure to provide hours of entertainment

Two Games in One
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I grew up playing the original Clue game and my two kids have recently gotten into board games so I thought this would be a good addition to the options. It takes younger kids a bit to learn everything and you have to power through a few games before things start clicking but once they get the rules, it's a fun time. What surprised me is that there's actually two versions of the game that you can play, one on each side of the playing board. It's a good way to introduce the even younger kids to the game and make it easier to move up to the more difficult version.

It even comes with two versions that can be played on either side of the board. The easier one is on a playground and is more cooperative. The other side takes place inside the school and is more like the Adult version by having each player figure out who did what, with which item and where. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In our home, we love playing the original clue, but my 5u ear old always gets mad because we don’t let him play or because he doesn’t understand how to play but now he can play clue jr which is more easy to understand at his age!

Amazing Game
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This game is fantastic as you get two games in one.
One side of the board is suitable for younger children exploring the playground by searching for clues and the other side of the game is the original game.
My little ones have loved playing with both sides of the games especially the younger side as they can play without needing my help.
My 10 year old like playing the older side as he finds it more challenging and fun.
This really is a great game and we will be taking this camping next time we go to keep the kids entertained (and adults)

So fun
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My children and I love playing this together! It is simple enough for my toddler to play and still fun for my 8 year old. The rules are easy and the directions are simple. A little fun extra is that the board is two sided so it's really like getting to games in one. One is for group play and the other side is for individuals. I definitely suggest it for families with little kids.

Clue for juniors
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always been a fan of the game Clue. However, teaching how to play this classic to a five year old, not as easy as I would have thought it was. I am so glad I can now play this fun and exciting game of guess with my kindergartener.

Family game night
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the concept of being able to switch between two levels of difficulty. Having children at different ages can sometimes be tricky to have a game that all can be involved in. This did take some time to get the hang of it. But it was enjoyed by all. Worth it if your a family game night type of family.

So fun!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Clue Junior is a great game for young children who are just starting to learn how to play board games. It is simple and easy to learn, but still engaging and exciting. The game promotes critical thinking skills as players try to figure out who, what, where, and when the crime took place. The components are durable and well-made, and the game is fun for the whole family. It is great for family game nights!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've not played cludeo since a child and loved being able to share this new, simpler version with my own children.
