It's cute, durable, and safe for use around younger children who put toys in their mouths frequently. The modular keychain, which can attach directly to the figurine or to the base, is a fun way for your child to attach it to their backpack or take it on the go. The outer shell has 2 layers: a clear external shell and a flimsy layer (off-white in color) inside of the shell. The external shell is semi-durable, but it's hard to get it closed all the way with the figurine's tail attached. The off-white layer (the &quot;cloud&quot;) is cute but flimsy enough that the average child will likely smoosh it beyond repair almost immediately. So don't expect the &quot;cloud&quot; to be a cloud after initially opening it. However, this only affects the toy's aesthetic, not the functionality. The base is durable and enables you to put stand the figure up &quot;on display&quot; within the external shell. We received the Loopy Bat. It was hard to identify what animal it was, but luckily we were able to match it to the flyer in the package. My child loved the mystery unboxing concept of this toy, but after it was open and was done ooing and awing over how cute it was, had very little interest to play with it. I found the hair that you attach to it a little strange, and even stranger that you could attach it to the keychain. Overall, they toy was of good quality (sturdy plastic, the hair did not shed). The keychain is whimsically cloud-shaped and pink, and you can attach the tail to it, which could be a good accessory external to a backpack for example. The figurine is pretty cute, just large enough not to make me nervous about a toddler swallowing it, and very durable. The tail attaches either to the figurine or the keychain, but it's a tight fit on the figurine. Smaller children may have a hard time attaching it unassisted, but once it's attached it definitely won't fall out unless you pull it out intentionally. Best approach in my opinion is to attach the tail to the figurine and thread the keychain through the loop of the tail. The external base has cute paw prints on it and a small peg to display the figurine standing upright (with or without external casing). It's sturdy but slightly flexible. The upper casing (2 pieces) looks like a cloud with a face, cute. My biggest complaint is with the upper casing, which has a clear outer layer and a super-thin white inner layer. The outer layer is difficult to attach to the base, especially if you want to display the figure standing upright with tail attached (you have to &quot;tuck in&quot; the tail while trying to snap in the outer shell). Young children may have a hard time doing it unassisted. Both external casing pieces could easily be broken for good if you stepped on it just once. Ore disappointed if I spent money on this item. This would be a firls only 1minute thrill. The surprise toys are a big hit for boys and girls but this has no boy options. The surprise itself was just boring, the hair that attaches to the clouded is not good. I consider this a choking hazard for those under the age of 4, a child younger than 4 would have no fun playing with this and a child over 4 again would have the 1 minute thrill seeing the surprise, it is not something you can really play with. The keychain is poor, no real instructions to assemble that, I did figure it out but again, it is not functional. I like the fact it has surprise packaging as you dont know which pet your child will get. My 7 year old daughter loves animals and really enjoyed the cat she got in her Cloudees. It comes in a little carrying case so your child can take the pet with them. My daughter enjoyed this to keep her busy while traveling. It&rsquo;s well made and very adorable, the signature Cloudees tail attachment could have been made to attach better however and the keychain mechanism is not very practical for use. If the keychain /holder was better designed, the item would have made for better use as a keychain or charm for hanging . The item however was cute and both my niece and son were very interested in opening the surprise and was pleased upon opening it which is mainly why I will recommend it.
