It is difficult to nearly impossible to position Barbie to stay in a split on the balance beam despite the appearance on n the packaging. A clip to attach to Barbie would be a huge improvement. Our daughter did enjoy the accessories including the metal and hula hoops. There are numerous attachments and it would be helpful to have a bag or storage component included with the toy to keep the items together. She even has this ring you put around her waist, giving you the ability to spin her around and make her look like she is doing professional tricks! Barbie has two outfits to choose from, including a gym bag and shoes, plus a healthy snack. There are several pieces of very realistic gymnastic equipment including a balance beam, batons, and hula hoop rings. The balance beam is stable, constructed well, and held up during play. The best accessory by far is the waist ring. This piece snaps around Barbie's waist and allows you to control her movements such as spinning, flips, and walking on the balance beam. Barbie's hands are able to hold the rings, batons, and snacks. Another fantastic feature is Barbie's flexibility. Her knees and elbows have joints and are bendable to allow for more acrobatic movements. A couple of noteworthy things, but not a deal breaker: The waist ring is tricky to get on and could snag the clothes if pushed too hard and Barbie's shoes are very loose and fall off randomly.
