The doll is well-made. It's lighter than the usual dolls, though. Not sure if that's indicative of durability. The joints are also much easier to move around. It's not as easy to change outfits but I think that's more because of the accessory than the doll itself. My niece was so excited when we unboxed this new doll. His skin color &amp; hair texture are as beautiful as hers. It&rsquo;s rare that you find a Barbie with natural hair twists. He can wear his outfit as is, and look sporty , or because his sorts are a nice grey khaki and he&rsquo;s wearing white ankle tennis shoes , he can switch up his shirt for a quick look change easily . His braids are a separate piece that easily comes off (but shouldn&rsquo;t ) and possibly could be used on another doll as a wig . She also thought that he had a cool belt on until I looked and realized its his stamped on underwear. He has basic ken doll movements, no extra joints to make pretend soccer easier but he kicks and thats all she cared about. They made his outfit match his hairstyle as a sporty type.
