She asked what were the spots on the dolls body. I told her they were freckles. And freckles can be beautiful. She has wavy hair, and freckles everywhere. Freckles on her face, arms and legs. Her dress is super cute; almost reminiscent of totally hair Barbie&rsquo;s dress. Her shoes are cute and trendy. When she is packaged in the box, her hair doesn&rsquo;t appear to be wavy, but when you de-box her, her hair is clearly wavy. My daughter liked her hair a lot, and I like the fact that she diversifies our collection of Barbie&rsquo;s. Any girl who has freckles will connect with this doll right away. It&rsquo;s great that Barbie&rsquo;s are being made to look like everybody. Overall, I think this is a nice doll. She has a cute dress and great shoes. They immediately grabbed a brush to brush the dolls hair, which is fun and crimped! They&rsquo;ve been having fun taking off and putting on the dress as well which has been very easy and Velcro. They love the bright blues in the dress as they don&rsquo;t always love everything being pink, this is a fun alternative. The hair is honestly a little uneven and sparse but the girls don&rsquo;t seem to mind. They&rsquo;ve been putting it up in a ponytail and loving playing around with it. They are making up fun adventures for the doll to go on and having a blast playing with it. We opened her and the packaging was difficult to manage. We had to remove the plastic strings from her hair and shoulders. Her shoes immediately came off and we were unable to get them back on. Even with her feet in the shoes, she was not able to stand. It also appears that shoes are not on tbe correct foot no matter which foot a shoe is on. Her hair was wavy and blunt cut and not combable. Her skins has black specs on the legs and we wished her knees would bend. Her purse will only stay on with the plastic tie that came in the box. Her dress is really cute and fits wells. At first I thought it was a defect but reading other reviews other customers mention light to heavy freckles including other spots on Barbie&rsquo;s body just like mine shows 3 white dots on her face (see picture). Regardless she is wearing a fun marble swirl bright long sleeve mini dress, slip on blue stilettos and purple purse. She has medium tone skin with wavy hair. She does not have bendable arms or legs. This Barbie&rsquo;s body feels a little harder than others I own. Very fashionable and fun.
