The one negative thing I have to say is that perhaps her glasses could have been more durable. My daughter broke them within a few minutes of opening the doll. I have no doubt that my daughter was entirely at fault. She probably stretched the glasses too far while trying to put them on the doll. But as this is a children's toy, it would be nice if the glasses were a bit more bendable. Overall though, it is a cute, seemingly durable doll.</span>

Her hair style is rather disheleved and choppy, with quite a few scraggly pieces hanging out. Her legs and arms feel and sound rather thin and hollow, which is what I think makes her seem like a lesser quality than other Barbies we have played with.
She will sit straight up without too much manipulation.

She comes in a plastic zipper case that can be reused to store her and her accessories. She comes with shoes and a pair of sunglasses. Everything is easy to take off and put back on. My kids didn't have trouble with that but they are older. I really like how this came with a reusable case instead of just throwing it away. <span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The latest addition to the Barbie Fashionista line is a solid addition to the Barbie line on the whole.
One really nice change with this product is the packaging. Unlike boxed Barbies, this doll comes in a plastic pouch that zippers open and closed and is similar in build to a pencil holder. It is incredibly easy to open - simply clip the plastic tab locking the zipper and you're in. It is large enough to hold the doll and all the accessories you'd like ever want to use with it.
The doll itself is of the expected Barbie quality with no surprises. It manipulates as all Barbies do - arms, legs, head - no wrists or knees - and in the right position the doll can stand on its own even in the included shoes. The other included accessory are the sunglasses.
The only real issue we have with the product is that the included clothes feature an unfinished edge. It's likely intentional for the "fashion", but the result is a piece of clothing that looks a bit frayed out of the box and with extended play is likely going to truly fray. However my daughter doesn't notice it at all for the time being, and she simply enjoys playing with the latest addition to her Barbie family.

Her gorgeous brown skin and medium brown hair does leave her culture ambiguous (is she Jersey Shore Ultra tanned, Latina, or Middle Eastern?) It doesn't really matter though. She is extra long legged and her romper is so cute! The white sunglasses are definitely a bit plain - I'd like to take a permanent marker to mine and decorate a bit. However, I Love the "pom pom" detail on the shoes - I totally want a pair like that for myself! I'd definitely recommend these only for older kids, just because of the maturity of the doll.</span>
