I really liked how the calendar and Barbie are winter themed. My girls had fun opening each flap and only needed help to open a few of them. They were excited about each accessory that came with the Barbie. Their favorite was definitely the pet dog. This is a great advent calendar for any Barbie lover! The surprises included outfits and surprises like cute shoes and scarves. There was also a surprise pet that was also a color reveal and in our cases ended up being a little puppy. My girls have had so much fun with this Barbie that I highly recommend!</span>

Granted, it’s August, so we’ve been loosely counting down until my daughter’s 8th birthday party. The main doll is exactly like other color reveal dolls - hard plastic with clip on hair. I’m not a fan of these, but my daughter LOVES the surprise bag component of revealing the doll and her accessories. The daily reveals have been fun for both my son (5) and daughter, but letting them both do one messes up the count. I’d recommend getting one (or another calendar) of these per child so they can both punch a square of their own each day. The accessories are in the same quantities as pictured when you buy online, though they aren’t exactly the same (i.e 2 outfits, 1 pet, etc). My only complaint is the scene you’re supposed to create with the punched out cardboard. The slits for them make you put some facing sideways which is just odd when they’re one-sides pictures. Getting them in the slots was difficult as well. I’m attaching a few pictures of our in-progress count down so you be can see what the product looks like opened.</span>

Everyday is a new surprise which was the most amazing experience for my girls. The experience was similar to a color reveal doll except the surprises inside were delayed over the course of 25 days. This let them love each daily surprise instead of opening all of them at once. They truly treasured each present each day. They included Barbie clothes, accessories, Barbie animals, and blind bags. The last big surprise was the color reveal doll which they patiently waited for and it seemed to be worth the wait. She was a magical blue snow themed color reveal Barbie doll that they could use with all of the previous surprises. They were so enthusiastic about the advent calendars and I will never go back to the boring chocolate ones. I really loved that they were able to appreciate each daily surprise and they could be used with other barbies as well.</span>
