Our Saber broke eventually and one of the daggers has become floppy but this was after hours upon hours of mock battling in the backyard. My 4 and 6 year old love these things and I as a parent have had to deal with very few injuries from them. We typically don't bother getting them wet, and the ones we did use in the pool wore out the fastest. There was no variety.
